IDW, Titan, Disruptor Beam, and More Sign on for Upcoming Star Trek Television Series


NEW YORK August 7, 2017 – This past weekend at the Star Trek Las Vegas convention, CBS Consumer Products announced a huge slate of licensing partners who have come aboard for the much-anticipated new series, Star Trek: Discovery. Best in class partners Simon & Schuster, IDW, Rubies, Titan, and others will debut new product lines including apparel, accessories, collectibles, publishing, costumes, and much more timed to the series’ September premiere.


Fans around the world can read up on the world of Star Trek: Discovery with new books from Simon & Schuster, comics from IDW, and souvenir magazines from Titan Entertainment, while fans looking for a more immersive experience can look to game developer Disruptor Beam, who is bringing Star Trek: Discovery to its popular mobile game, Star Trek: Timelines. Rubies is developing costumes inspired by the new series and collectible die-cast ship models from Eaglemoss will be available to fans.


Heading to U.S. fans this year, Trevco will debut a line of Star Trek: Discovery t-shirts, while ANOVOS launches a collection of high-end replicas of the new Starfleet uniforms and Rizzoli debuts a line of calendars. In addition the already announced McFarlane figures, U.S. collectors will soon be able to add high-end prop badges and replicas from QMX, pins from FanSets, and Gentle Giant’s 3D replicas to their Star Trek collections. For fans in Europe looking to go boldly, Danilo is bringing Star Trek: Discovery to calendars and Pyramid is launching a line of posters, prints and fan gear in the U.K., and Cotton Division is debuting apparel and accessories in France. Australian fans can find a new line of posters and prints from Impact Rock.

Star Trek: Discovery will follow the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new life forms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. The series will feature a new ship and new characters while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.


The series will premiere on the CBS Television Network Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 with all subsequent episodes available on CBS All Access, the Network’s digital subscription video on demand and live streaming service, and will be distributed concurrently by CBS Studios International on Netflix in 188 countries and in Canada on Bell Media’s Space channel and OTT service CraveTV. Star Trek: Discovery is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, Bryan Fuller’s Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment.
