ONLY FIVE PLAYERS REMAIN AFTER A SURPRISING DOUBLE EVICTION DURING LAST NIGHT'S LIVE "BIG BROTHER"

Houseguests Matt and Brendon Were Both Evicted

It's down to the final five players as two of the Houseguests fell victim to last night's live double eviction show.  Matt was the first casualty as he became the first member of the Brigade alliance to leave the house when he was evicted by a vote of 4-0.  After discovering that a second contestant would accompany Matt to the jury house last night, the remaining 6 Houseguests squared off in a Head of Household competition, nomination ceremony, Veto competition and the evening's second eviction-all during the one-hour live broadcast.

Immediately following the night's first eviction, the Houseguests competed for Head of Household, which Hayden won.  Hayden proceeded to place Brendon and Ragan on the block for eviction, but Ragan was able to win the Power of Veto and save himself.  Hayden then replaced Ragan with Britney, but in the end it was Brendon who became the second Houseguest to be evicted by a vote of 3-0.

Following their evictions, Matt, a 32-year-old web designer from Elgin, Ill., and Brendon, a 30-year-old high school swim coach from Riverside, Calif., were interviewed by host Julie Chen about their experience in the house.  They join Rachel and Kathy as the third and fourth jury members.

The remaining Houseguests were left to battle it out for Head of Household.  Results will be revealed during Sunday night's broadcast.
