The Ninth Season of “Lucky Dog” Premieres

The ninth season of LUCKY DOG premieres Jan. 1, with hosts Eric and Rashi Khanna Wiese continuing the mission of the series: to unite shelter dogs with their new families. During the season, Eric takes viewers on a journey of rescuing previously hard-to-love, out-of-control, untrained dogs and making their futures bright. Also, Eric and Rashi welcome their first (human) baby as they continue their journey to provide families with guidance on tackling the seemingly impossible task of turning rescues into loving pets, with sound training methods that viewers can use at home to train their own dogs.

“Electricity, Engineering, and E-Games” – (Jasmine Chiang, Sylvie Garneau Tsodikova, Kat Echazarreta, Clarice Phelps) A STEM superstar shows how her love of video games led to her dream career. A pharmaceutical scientist shows how fungi are used to make antibiotics. An electrical engineer explains the basics of static electricity and shows it working. “Cold Rush” – It’s a three-day celebration of the best snow skiers in the world on some of the most impressive and dangerous slopes Colorado has to offer. Fixie bikes have become all the rage lately, and these riders are here to prove that they’re the best! King of the half pipe Simon Dumont has a trick up his sleeve that you won’t want to miss!
