Television icon Monty Hall makes television history with a sixth decade of appearances on LET'S MAKE A DEAL when he guests with host Wayne Brady the week of March 22-26 on the CBS Television Network.  Hall will appear on the show each day that week and play one game on his own with an audience member or members of his choosing.

Hall originally teamed with writer-producer Stefan Hatos in 1963 to create LET'S MAKE A DEAL, which ran until August 1986.  In 1990, Hall returned to do LET'S MAKE A DEAL for another cycle.  Another adaptation of the show ran briefly in 2003, featuring a guest appearance by Hall, who now serves as a creative consultant on the latest version of the show.

Hall was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  In 1955, he went to New York to do a five-year run of NBC's "Monitor."  In 1960, he became emcee of CBS's "Video Village," which brought him to Hollywood.  While doing "Video Village," his packaging career commenced after he sold his first production, "Your First Impression," to NBC and began hosting LET'S MAKE A DEAL in 1963.

Hall has headlined the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas and starred in his own variety show specials at the ABC network; on August 24, 1973, he was honored by having his star placed in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Hall has traveled the United States, Canada and Europe extensively, speaking and performing for countless charities.  His philanthropic activities have brought him over 500 awards.  As of June 2009, he has raised over one billion dollars for charities.  Hall is married to Marilyn, a writer-producer and Emmy Award-winner as co-executive producer of "Do You Remember Love," a drama concerning Alzheimer's disease.  The Halls have three children: Joanna Gleason, a
