LOS ANGELES, September 1, 2011 - CBS, America's most watched network, has launched a free CBS Fall Preview iPad app, the first-of-its-kind, which gives iPad users a unique look at the Network's new fall drama series UNFORGETTABLE, PERSON OF INTEREST and A GIFTED MAN, as well as its new comedy series 2 BROKE GIRLS and HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN.

Pauley Perrette, who plays the energetic forensic specialist Abby Sciuto on NCIS, television's #1 drama/scripted series, is the app's featured guide, giving iPad users a fun, up-close look at CBS's five new shows with special previews, behind-the-scenes videos, exclusive photo galleries, a complete CBS fall schedule with calendar integration features and, as an ode to UNFORGETTABLE, a memory challenge. This CBS Fall Preview app is now available here from the App Store or at http://www.itunes.com/appstore.

The CBS Fall Preview app's unique iPad experience includes the following features:

-     In-depth Previews: Includes special previews and behind-the-scenes videos of the new CBS line-up, as well as exclusive photo galleries of the shows' casts.

-     Unique, Integrated Video Elements: On the home screen, NCIS's Pauley Perrette introduces each new show, while offering fun anecdotes about the cast, characters and storylines.

-     An "Unforgettable" Memory Challenge: Gives users a fun way to test out their memory while interacting with the new series. Users also have the chance to win a new 50-inch plasma TV.

-     Social Media Integration: Social media posts from the official Twitter accounts for all CBS shows are integrated directly into the app.

-     CBS Fall Schedule: Gives users a look at the complete lineup on CBS this season. Calendar integration enables users to easily add the Network's premiere and regular episode dates to their iPad calendar and share the information with friends online.

Fans without iPads can visit CBS.com for exclusive content, including videos, games, blogs and contests, for all of CBS' new and returning series.

The app also serves as the perfect companion to the CBS FALL PREVIEW, a primetime special previewing CBS's new fall lineup, hosted by Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar, stars of the Emmy Award-nominated and Golden Globe Award-nominated #1 comedy series, THE BIG BANG THEORY. The special will air on Thursday, Sept. 8 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, immediately following an episode of THE BIG BANG THEORY.

Information about the new CBS series to be featured in the iPad app and CBS FALL PREVIEW special follows:

2 BROKE GIRLS is a comedy about two young women waitressing at a greasy spoon diner who strike up an unlikely friendship in the hopes of launching a successful business - if only they can raise the cash.  Kat Dennings, Beth Behrs, Garrett Morris, Jonathan Kite and Matthew Moy star in the series co-created by "Sex in the City" executive producer Michael Patrick King and comedian Whitney Cummings.  It premieres Monday, Sept. 19 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT).

UNFORGETTABLE is a drama about a female NYPD detective with the rare, real-life ability to remember every moment of her life, which is both a professional blessing and personal burden.  UNFORGETTABLE, which stars Poppy Montgomery, Dylan Walsh, Michael Gaston, Kevin Rankin and Daya Vaidya, premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 (10:00-11:00 PM ET/PT).

HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN, inspired by the book of the same name, is a comedy about the unlikely friendship between a traditional, refined writer and an unrefined personal trainer.  Andrew Carlson is an etiquette columnist whose devotion to ideals from a more civilized time has led to a life detached from modern society.  Infectiously optimistic, Bert Lansing is a reformed "bad boy" from Andrew's past who inherited a fitness center, but can still be rude, loud and sloppy. Though Andrew and Bert's views may be centuries apart, they may find they're each other's missing link.  HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN stars David Hornsby, Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Kevin Dillon, Dave Foley, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Nancy Lenehan and Rhys Darby, premieres Thursday, Sept. 29 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT).

PERSON OF INTEREST, from executive producers J.J. Abrams and Jonathan Nolan, is a crime thriller about a former CIA agent who teams up with a mysterious billionaire to prevent violent crimes using their own brand of vigilante justice.  PERSON OF INTEREST, which stars Jim Caviezel, Emmy Award winner Michael Emerson and Academy and Emmy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson, premieres Thursday, Sept. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT).

A GIFTED MAN is a drama about a brilliant, charismatic surgeon whose life changes forever when his deceased ex-wife begins teaching him the meaning of life from the "hereafter."  A GIFTED MAN, which stars Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominated actor Patrick Wilson, Tony Award-winning actress Jennifer Ehle, Emmy Award nominated actress Margo Martindale and Tony Award nominated actor Pablo Schreiber premieres Friday, September 23 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).
