Neville To Perform "Stand By Me" and "Ain't No Sunshine"

Four-time Grammy Award winner Aaron Neville will appear on the Number One daytime drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, Friday, Oct. 27 on the CBS Television Network.

Neville, a longtime fan of Y&R, will perform at the opening of Neil Winters' (Kristoff St. John) new club, Indigo, where he will sing "Stand By Me" and "Ain't No Sunshine," from his new album, Bring It On Home... The Soul Classics.

Neville, the third youngest of the four famous brothers, was the first to make the national charts with the Number One hit, "Tell It Like It Is," in 1966.  He and his brothers later formed The Neville Brothers and recorded a series of memorable albums in the '70s and '80s.  In the '90s, Neville's solo career was re-launched with the album Warm My Heart, and won two Grammy Awards for duets with Linda Ronstadt.  He was later nominated for 16 Grammy Awards for work in genres as diverse at country, pop, R&B and gospel.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has been the Number One rated daytime drama for more than 17 years and is in its 34th season.  The show is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM; 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
