"AS THE WORLD TURNS" TO CELEBRATE ITS 13,000TH EPISODE, MONDAY, APRIL 23 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

       AS THE WORLD TURNS will reach a milestone with its 13,000th episode on Monday, April 23 (check local listings) on the CBS Television Network.  AS THE WORLD TURNS recently celebrated its 51st anniversary and is nominated for 16 Daytime Emmy Awards this year.

        In the 13,000th episode, Emily (Kelley Menighan Hensley) and Dusty (Grayson McCouch) realize the extent of Alison's (Marnie Schulenberg) drug problem; Meg (Marie Wilson) tries to convince Lucinda (Elizabeth Hubbard) to let Paul (Roger Howarth) and her help regain control of WorldWide; and Jade's (Elena Goode) nefarious plans regarding Gwen and Cleo (Emmy nominee Jennifer Landon in dual roles) are revealed.

          AS THE WORLD TURNS is broadcast weekdays (check local listings) on the CBS Television Network and is a Procter & Gamble Production.  Christopher Goutman is Executive Producer. Jean Passanante is Head writer.
