CBS Corporation won a combined 18 awards at the “44th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards” ceremonies this weekend, the most of any company.

The CBS Television Network was recognized with 14 awards, including THE TALK winning its first Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host Daytime Emmy Award, and THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL each winning in the lead acting categories.

CBS Television Distribution took home three awards, with JUDGE JUDY honored in the Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program category, ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT named Outstanding Entertainment News Program, and JEOPARDY! winning Outstanding Game Show for the 16th time. In addition, CBS News’ CBS SUNDAY MORNING won the Outstanding Technical Team category.

The Network’s daytime dramas were honored with multiple acting and creative arts Emmys. Gina Tognoni, from Daytime’s #1 drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, was named Outstanding Lead Actress, and the drama also received the Outstanding Supporting Actor award for Steve Burton, as well as the award for Outstanding Drama Series Writing Team and three additional creative arts Emmy Awards. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL’s Scott Clifton won for Outstanding Lead Actor. Clifton is the first male actor in Daytime Emmy history to win all three acting categories – Younger, Supporting and Lead. The series also received the Outstanding Guest Performer award for Jim O'Heir and three additional honors at the creative arts Emmy Awards. THE PRICE IS RIGHT took home the Outstanding Directing in a Game Show award.
