“THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR MAY 4-8

For the week ending Friday, May 8 (week #33 of the 2019-2020 broadcast season), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT averaged an audience of 3.39 million viewers taking the week by +57% over the closest competitor (versus 2.16m).

THE LATE SHOW with special guest New York Governor Andrew Cuomo had a tremendous night last Thursday, May 7, scoring 3.85 million viewers, beating its nearest competition by +80% (versus 2.14m). This was THE LATE SHOW’s largest Thursday audience in almost two months (since March 12, 2020).

According to Nielsen “Most Current” ratings for the season to date, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT has delivered a leading 3.61 million viewers, 0.7 in adults 25-54 and 0.4 (tie) in adults 18-49, while leading in adults 18-49 viewers (559k versus 526k for NBC).
