“THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR JULY 20-24

For the week ending Friday, July 24 (week #44 of the 2019-2020 broadcast year), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT averaged an audience of 3.01 million viewers nearly matching the COMBINED audiences of “The Tonight Show” (1.58m) and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.46m).

According to Nielsen “Most Current” ratings for the 2019-2020 television year to date, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT is first in 3.51 million viewers, 0.6 (tie) in adults 25-54 and 0.4 (tie) in adults 18-49, while leading in adults 25-54 viewers (774k versus 694k for NBC and 603k for ABC) and adults 18-49 viewers (538k versus 500k for NBC and 432k for ABC).

Of special note last week, with live plus 3-day lift, the Wednesday, July 22 LATE SHOW with special guest Mary Trump delivered 3.45 million viewers, beating the COMBINED competition (3.24m, +6%) and posting the show’s largest Wednesday audience in over four months (since March 11, 2020).

Finally, for the week ending July 24, THE LATE SHOW was once again the #1 late night show on YouTube for views of current content. All four of last week’s monologues delivered over 2 million views each, and the four segments of Colbert’s Wednesday night interview with Mary Trump amassed an impressive 4.7 million total views.
