LOOK WHO’S COMING TO “THE NEIGHBORHOOD”

  • Emmy winner Wayne Brady is making a return visit to THE NEIGHBORHOOD. The LET’S MAKE A DEAL host, who first appeared in last season’s finale, will reprise his role as Isaiah Evans, the slick-suited incumbent politician running against Dave Johnson (Max Greenfield) in a heated city council race. We’ll learn the outcome of the election early in season three.

AFTER 37 YEARS, Y&R SAYS GOODBYE “DINA”

  • THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS says thank you to Marla Adams for her long tenure on the show. She originated the role of the Abbott Family matriarch Dina Mergeron in May 1983. When first introduced, Dina returned to Genoa City to reclaim her place in the Abbott family after abandoning her ex-husband and children 12 years earlier. Recently, Dina was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and viewers have watched as the Abbotts made peace with their past and provided their mother with love and support. Adams final episode on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS airs Friday, Oct. 16.

In 2018, after 35 years on the show, Marla received her first Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. She is celebrating her 52nd year on daytime television, having originated the role of Belle Clemmens on CBS’ “The Secret Storm” in 1968.
