"Bones of Contention" -- The murder of a researcher leads the FBI on an investigation of a killer and a human skull, on NUMB3RS, Friday, Dec. 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Jeannot Szwarc directed the episode written by Christos Gage & Ruth Fletcher-Gage.

Academy Award nominee Graham Greene ("Dances with Wolves") guest stars as Chief Michael Clearwater who fears the human skull may challenge the tribe's historic records.

When a young researcher at the Heritage Museum is found dead, Don and Megan are called to the scene to investigate. With Charlie's help, they discover that she had been investigating the origin of a human skull found on Wiyana Native American land, which has now gone missing. In searching for the skull and the murderer, they encounter a political web of cover ups and deceit involving the Indian Chief.
