"Big Brother" Easily Tops the Night in Viewers and Key Demos, Matching Season Best Adult 18-49 Rating

            Last night's live double eviction show delivered BIG BROTHER's largest audience and highest adult 25-54 rating since 2007, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Aug. 25.

BIG BROTHER THURSDAY was first in households (5.1/08), viewers (8.48m), adults 25-54 (3.8/10), adults 18-49 (3.2/09) and adults 18-34 (2.5/08). 

This is BIG BROTHER's best delivery on any night  in viewers and adults 25-54 since Sept. 18, 2007 (finale of BIG BROTHER 8) and matched its season high (for any night) among adults 18-49.

Note:  All networks had preemptions/delays due to pre-season NFL football.   Ratings are tentative and subject to change.

For the night, CBS was first in households (4.5/08), viewers (7.20m), adults 25-54 (2.8/07) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06).
