“THE LATE SHOW” WINS THE WEEK BY ITS SECOND LARGEST MARGIN EVER

Monday’s Broadcast Featuring Guest Anthony Scaramucci Delivers 3.60 Million Viewers, Largest Ever Monday Audience; Wins Night in Key Demos

THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT averaged 3.15m viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending August 18. THE LATE SHOW topped “The Tonight Show” by +770,000 viewers (3.15m vs. 2.38m, +32%), the program’s second largest margin of victory, only trailing the week ending August 4 when THE LATE SHOW won by +900,000 viewers.

LATE SHOW was up +86% in viewers (from 1.70m) compared to rebroadcasts last year opposite the second week of the Olympics.

Monday’s broadcast, with guest Anthony Scaramucci, averaged 3.60m viewers, THE LATE SHOW’s largest ever Monday audience and topping “The Tonight Show” by +74% (3.60m vs. 2.07m). THE LATE SHOW also won Monday in adults 25-54 (0.8 vs. 0.7, +14%), adults 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.5, +20%) and adults 18-34 (0.3 vs. 0.2, +50%).
