“THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” WINS WEEK OVER COMBINED COMPETITION

 

Special Guest Rep. Adam Schiff Helps Deliver

Second-Largest Thursday Audience This Season

For the week ending Dec. 13 (week 12 of the 2019-2020 broadcast season), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT (3.63m) beat both “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (1.80m) and “The Tonight Show” (1.73m) combined in viewers (3.63m versus 3.53m, +3%). In viewers, THE LATE SHOW has won every first-run week this season. THE LATE SHOW was also tops in adults 25-54 (0.6 versus 0.5 for “Kimmel” and “The Tonight Show”) and in adults 18-49 (0.4 versus 0.3 for “Kimmel” and “Tonight.”).

Additionally, on Thursday, Dec. 12, THE LATE SHOW, with special guest Rep. Adam Schiff, delivered 3.96 million viewers, the show’s second-largest Thursday audience this season (behind only Oct. 31’s edition with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi).

With live plus 3-day and live plus 7-day ratings this season, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT delivers 3.67 million viewers, 0.7 in adults 25-54 and 0.5 in adults 18-49 – leading among all the late night programs in these measures. THE LATE SHOW leads second-place NBC (2.00m) by +84%.
