“THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR AUGUST 10-14

During First Week in New Studio, Stephen Matches Combined Competition

For the week ending Friday, August 14 (week #47 of the 2019-2020 broadcast year), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT (premiering from its new studio at the Ed Sullivan Theater) averaged an audience of 2.83 million viewers, matching the COMBINED competition (“The Tonight Show,” 1.46m and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.37m).

According to Nielsen “Most Current” ratings for the 2019-2020 television year to date, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT is first with 3.50 million viewers, 0.6 (tie) in adults 25-54 and 0.4 (tie) in adults 18-49, while leading in adults 25-54 viewers (771k versus 680k for NBC and 600k for ABC) and adults 18-49 viewers (536k versus 490k for NBC and 430k for ABC).

Finally, for the week ending August 14, THE LATE SHOW was the #1 late night show on YouTube for views of current content, highlighted by Colbert’s Wednesday, August 12 monologue, which garnered 3.4 million views on the platform. (Source: Tubular Labs)
