“THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR AUGUST 17-21

#LSSC Beats Viewership of Combined Competition by +14%

For the week ending Friday, August 21 (week #48 of the 2019-2020 broadcast year), in live plus three day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT (airing from its new studio at The Ed Sullivan Theater) averaged an audience of 2.68 million viewers, beating the COMBINED competition (“The Tonight Show,” 1.14m and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.22m) by +14%.

According to Nielsen “Most Current” ratings for the 2019-2020 television year to date, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT is first with 3.48 million viewers, 0.6 (tie) in adults 25-54 and 0.4 (tie) in adults 18-49, while leading in adults 25-54 viewers (766k versus 673k for NBC and 595k for ABC) and adults 18-49 viewers (533k versus 485k for NBC and 427k for ABC).
