CBS Ratings Highlights for the week ending May 16
According to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sunday, May 16 (week 34 of the 2020-2021 broadcast season), CBS finished first with 4.96 million viewers.
On Monday, BULL was first in viewers (4.93m), and tied for first in both adults 25-54 (0.7/04) and adults 18-49 (0.5/03).
Tuesday, CBS was first in viewers (7.47m), adults 25-54 (1.1/06), and tied for first in adults 18-49 (0.6/04). NCIS topped the night and the week in viewers (8.94m) while also winning its hour in adults 25-54 (1.2/06) and adults 18-49 (0.7/05). At 9:00 PM, FBI was first in viewers (7.69m); FBI: MOST WANTED was also first in viewers at 10:00 PM (5.79m).
On Thursday, CBS was first in viewers (4.60m) as YOUNG SHELDON (8:00-8:31 PM) took the night—and the week—as the top comedy with 7.21 million viewers in its season four finale. New comedy THE UNITED STATES OF AL (8:31-9:00PM) was first in viewers (5.23m), adults 25-54 (0.9/05) and adults 18-49 (0.6/04). The series finale of MOM at 9:00 PM was first with a season-best in viewers (6.17m) and adults 25-54 (1.1/06), and tied for first in adults 18-49 (0.7/05) with the program’s series finale. At 9:30 PM, B-POSITIVE was second in viewers (4.42m).
On Friday night, CBS was first in viewers (5.68m) with original dramas for the 17th consecutive Friday. At 8:00 PM, CBS NEWS: THE QUEEN CARRIES ON – A GAYLE KING SPECIAL was first in viewers (3.61m), while a special episode of BLUE BLOODS at 9:00 PM scored a time period-winning 6.36 million viewers. The season 11 finale of BLUE BLOODS at 10:00 PM was first for the night with a season-best 7.07 million viewers.
Saturday, CBS was first in viewers (2.16m) behind encores and the night’s top show, an original 48 HOURS (2.58m).
On Sunday, CBS was first in viewers (6.55m) for the 16th Sunday in 17 weeks. 60 MINUTES was first in viewers (7.99m) with its largest audience since April 18, 2021. At 8:00 PM, THE EQUALIZER was first in viewers (7.39m) and adults 25-54 (1.1/05), and tied for first in adults 18-49 (0.7/05). THE EQUALIZER was Sunday’s #1 primetime entertainment program in viewers, with its largest audience since March 28, 2021. NCIS: LOS ANGELES at 9:00 PM was second in viewers (5.85m), posting its largest audience since February 21, 2021. Finally, at 10:00 PM, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS was first in viewers (4.98m), also posting its largest audience since February 28, 2021.
