NFL Prime Runover Delivers Nearly 30 Million Viewers Network Has Five of the Top and 13 of the Top 20 Programs CBS won the week in viewers which included its most-watched Sunday of the season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 15. Sunday’s 38-minute NFL runover (New England Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers) averaged nearly 30 million viewers (29.72m). For the night, CBS averaged a season best 12.31 million viewers.
