Keisha Castle-Hughes has amassed a large body of notable work over the years, starting with her breakthrough role of Paikea in Niki Caro’s film “Whale Rider,” which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in 2003, as well as a SAG Award nomination and international acclaim.
Currently, she stars as Special Agent Hana Gibson in FBI: MOST WANTED, which debuted as last season’s top new series.
Among Castle-Hughes’ additional television credits are a starring role in Cameron Crowe’s SHOWTIME series “Roadies,” alongside Luke Wilson, Carla Gugino and Imogen Poots, a recurring role as Obara Sand in “Game of Thrones” and a featured role in the limited series “Manhunt: Unabomber,” alongside Sam Worthington and Paul Bettany. Her FBI: MOST WANTED character and her series’ fellow lead characters were first introduced on an episode of the Network’s hit series FBI, and after the launch of FBI: MOST WANTED the cast appeared on FBI again for a crossover episode.
Her additional film credits include “Thank You for Your Service,” opposite Miles Teller, Haley Bennett and Amy Schumer, written and directed by Jason Hall (“American Sniper”), George Lucas’ “Star Wars: Episode III” in 2005 playing Queen Naboo, and “The Nativity Story,” in the role of Mary opposite Oscar Issac as Joseph.
