RIGGLE ME THIS…

Comedian and former “The Daily Show” correspondent, Rob Riggle, guest stars on the Thursday, Dec. 17 episode of THE UNICORN (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) as “Trey,” a slick hotel developer who tests Wade’s (Walton Goggins) patience after hiring him for a lucrative project. Here’s a fun fact for fans: Riggle is a long-time friend of series star Rob Corddry (“Forrest”). Corddry also made his mark as a correspondent on (gratuitous plug for sister ViacomCBS network) Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show.”

REUNITED…AND IT FEELS SO GOOD

On tonight’s episode of FBI: MOST WANTED (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), series star Julian McMahon reunites with former soap opera co-star Amy Carlson (formerly of BLUE BLOODS), who debuts in her recurring role as an aggressive bounty hunter who is a thorn in the side of the team. Approximately 30 years ago, the two were a couple on the daytime drama “Another World.” It was McMahon’s first job in the U.S. and Carlson’s first-ever series regular role.

According to McMahon, “We hadn’t seen each other since. What a gift, what a great pleasure to be able to work together again. She plays this character called Jackie who is this bounty hunter, and she’s real feisty and real energetic and real gnarly. (He laughs) They don't always see eye to eye and they get in each other’s way a lot… ‘Jess’ (McMahon’s character) has his FBI – more legal [way of approaching cases]…So, there’s an ability for the character Amy plays to kind of get ahead of them sometimes, and it's really interesting because Jess hates it when people get ahead of him.”
