Some memorable appearances include recurring roles on “Star Trek: Picard,” “For All Mankind,” “True Blood,” “The Mentalist” on the Network, and “American Horror Story.” She will soon be seen in the Hulu series “Dopesick,” about the American opioid crisis.

On the film side, she has appeared in “Pollock” opposite Ed Harris, “Hello My Name is Doris” opposite Sally Field, and as the voice of ‘Ebay Elayne’ in the animated feature “Ralph Saves the Internet.” Wisocky will next be seen in director Andrew Dominik’s Marilyn Monroe feature “Blonde” for Netflix and in a supporting role in David O. Russell’s as-yet untitled feature starring Margot Robbie and Christian Bale.

Wisocky became involved in the arts at a young age at the community theatre in her hometown of York, PA. She completed scholar programs at both Carnegie Mellon and the Pennsylvania Governor’s School, then moved to New York where she graduated with honors from NYU’s Experimental Theatre Wing. She was a founding member of Annie-B Parson’s acclaimed Big Dance Theater, a regular favorite in Jeff Weiss’s infamous late-night soap “Hot Keys,” and was awarded an OBIE for her performance as ‘Leni Riefenstahl’ in Jordan Harrison’s play “Amazons and Their Men.”

Other theatre credits include “Barbecue” by Robert O’Hara at The Geffen, “God’s Ear” by Jenny Schwartz at the Vineyard, “36 Views” by Naomi Iizuka at the Public, “The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant” by R.W. Fassbinder at Henry Miller’s Theater, and many more in New York, regionally and abroad.

Wisocky resides in Los Angeles and New York with her husband, award-winning theatrical lighting designer Lap-Chi Chu. They enjoy hiking with their three rescue dogs, Carlo, Primrose and Tank. She adopted Carlo in Puerto Rico while participating in former cast mate Roselyn Sanchez’s Amazing Paw Paw Race. Wisocky and her husband adopted twins Primrose and Tank at the beginning of the pandemic through the HIT Living Foundation in Los Angeles.
