According to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sunday, April 12 (week 29 of the 2019-2020 broadcast season), CBS attracted 5.82 million viewers (#1).

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O’DONNELL amassed an audience of 7.437 million viewers with 1.572 million adults 25-54. Based on the gross audience reach (including a 4:00 AM re-air), the CBS EVENING NEWS is up +33% in viewers and up +42% with adults 25-54 compared to the same week a year ago. Every day last week, the CBS EVENING NEWS ranked among the top three among total viewers for all CBS shows. On April 9, the CBS EVENING NEWS was the network’s most-watched broadcast with 7.06 million viewers.

On Monday, ALL RISE was second in viewers (6.07m) with a series-best audience delivery. BULL was also first with a season-best 7.16 million viewers.

On Tuesday, CBS was first in viewers (6.60m) with a night of encores as NCIS (7.86m), FBI (6.97m) and FBI: MOST WANTED (4.97m) all took their respective hours.

On Thursday, TOMMY was first in its time period with 5.17 million viewers, the series’ second-largest audience to date.

On Friday, CBS led the way for the 27^th time in 29 weeks in viewers (6.42m) as MACGYVER (6.38m), MAGNUM P.I. (7.40m) and an encore of BLUE BLOODS (5.46m) all finished first in their respective time periods.

On Sunday night, CBS was first in viewers for the ninth consecutive Sunday with 7.00 million viewers. 60 MINUTES was the night’s #1 program and top program for the week in primetime for the third time this season, drawing 9.68 million viewers. GOD FRIENDED ME at 8:00 PM was second (5.69m), NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first (6.77m) and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS also finished tops in its time period (5.88m).
