Sixteen-time Daytime Emmy Award winner Bradley Bell is executive producer and head writer of the most-watched daily dramatic serial in the world, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. The show has aired for 33 years on the CBS Television Network.
In addition to his work with THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, Bells is also an owner of its sister soap, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, which has aired on CBS for over 45 years.
In a sweep during the “38th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards” on June 19, 2011, Bell and his producing team received their third consecutive Emmy for “Outstanding Drama Series” for THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Bell also received the Emmy for “Outstanding Drama Series Writing” in 2010, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2020, and the Emmy for “Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition for a Drama Series” in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2018, and the Emmy for “Outstanding Original Song - Drama” in 2015, 2016 and 2019.
Bell has been married for 28 years to fellow Chicagoan and former U.S. Ambassador to Hungary Colleen Bradley Bell. Currently, she is the executive director of the California Film Commission. They are the proud parents of four children: Bradley Chasen, Caroline Catherine, Charlotte Cordelia and Oliver Phillip.
