CONSTANTINE MAROULIS JOINS THE CAST OF "THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL," TUESDAY, MAY 15, ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Maroulis, a Contestant During "American Idol Season 4," To Make His Daytime Debut

         Constantine Maroulis will join the cast of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL beginning Tuesday, May 15 on the CBS Television Network.  Maroulis will play music producer Constantine Parros, who becomes embroiled in the career and life of heiress Phoebe Forrester (Mackenzie Mauzy).  He will perform a number of songs from his upcoming solo debut album over the next several months on the show.

           A graduate of the Boston Conservatory, Maroulis was a top-10 finalist during American Idol's 2005 season.  His success brought him national attention and led to several high-profile projects, including participating at Brian May's request on the Killer Queen tribute album, touring in Canada and Asia with the American Idol tour and as a solo artist, appearing in the Broadway production of "The Wedding Singer," appearing off-Broadway in the critically acclaimed "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living In Paris," and, most recently, as Yahoo!'s Idol Buzz weekly webcast co-host.  His highly-anticipated solo debut is slated for summer 2007.

           THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL is broadcast weekdays (1:30-2:00 PM, ET; 12:30- 1:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network. The show has taped over 5,000 episodes in its over 20 years on the air and is viewed daily by millions of viewers in over 140 countries, making it the most-watched dramatic serial in the world.
