STRIKE UP THE BAND… “THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT” ATTRACTED AN AVERAGE OF 3.7 MILLION VIEWERS WHILE WINNING WEEK 20 BY +93%

For the week ending Friday, Feb. 7 (week #20 of the 2019-2020 broadcast season), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT beat its closest competition (“Tonight Show”) by +93% in viewers (3.68m versus 1.91m). In viewers, THE LATE SHOW has won every first-run week this season.

With live plus 3-day and live plus 7-day ratings this season, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT delivers 3.70 million viewers, 0.7 in adults 25-54 and 0.4 in adults 18-49 – leading among all the late night programs in these measures. THE LATE SHOW leads second-place NBC (2.00m) by +85% and third-place ABC (1.94m) by +91%.

The Wednesday, Feb. 5 episode of THE LATE SHOW featuring guest Jim Carrey had three clips deliver more than 1 million views on YouTube. Carrey’s New Orleans-style entrance and his dramatic reimagining of some of his most famous movie lines each amassed more than 1.5 million views, while Colbert’s impassioned monologue from that night, reacting to President Trump’s acquittal by the Senate, has nearly 3.2 million views on the platform.
