Longest-Running Game Show in Television History Debuts New Season
With New "Pay the Rent" Game and a Chance to Win $100,000

Entering its 39th season, CBS's THE PRICE IS RIGHT, with host Drew Carey, is better and bigger than ever with a new game, updated classics, new guest announcers and fully miked models.  The new season will premiere Monday, Sept. 20 (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT), on the CBS Television Network, and will unveil "Pay the Rent," a new game where contestants have the chance to win $100,000, the highest dollar amount ever offered during a game in the show's history. 

In addition, two of America's most beloved PRICE games, "Plinko" and "Ten Chances," have been updated and enhanced to elevate game play excitement.  Also, for the first time in the show's history, the models will now be fully miked, enabling them to interact with Drew as well as the contestants and audience members.
