After the first-ever nationwide search, the fans have voted, and today network television’s #1-rated daytime series THE PRICE IS RIGHT named James O’Halloran the winner of the male model search on the longest-running game show. He begins his week-long modeling gig Monday, Dec. 15 (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

O’Halloran hails from Melbourne, Australia. The 30-year-old industrial designer grew up watching the Australian version of THE PRICE IS RIGHT. For fun he enjoys singing karaoke to “Under the Bridge” by Red Hot Chili Peppers, and if he could only eat one meal for the rest of his life it would be steak and chips.

Hundreds of men auditioned during the show’s first ever nationwide search for a male model. The pool was narrowed down to 30 finalists who competed in a series of challenges to prove they had what it takes to strut their stuff on stage of the iconic show. The competition was chronicled in a five-part web series, “The Price Is Right Male Model Search,” available on www.priceisright.com.
