CBS'S "THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS" CELEBRATES A RECORD 900 WEEKS AS THE NUMBER ONE DAYTIME DRAMA
The Series is Number One in All Demographics in the Latest Rankings
LOS ANGELES, Thursday, April 6 -- CBS's THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS celebrates a record 900 weeks as the highest rated daytime drama. The series, which first hit Number One more than 17 years ago, was the highest rated daytime drama in Households (4.3) for the 900th week in a row for the week of March 27, 2006. The program also ranked first in all demographics -- Women 18-49, Women 25-54, Women 18-34 and Women 18-24 -- in the latest Nielsen rankings.
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is in its 34th season. The show is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM; 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
