CBS RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE WEEK ENDING SUNDAY, APRIL 19

According to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sunday, April 19 (week 30 of the 2019-2020 broadcast season), CBS attracted 6.52 million viewers (#1).

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH NORAH O’DONNELL amassed an audience of 7.720 million viewers with 1.523 million of them adults 25-54 for the week. Based on the gross audience reach (including a 4:00 AM re-air), the CBS EVENING NEWS is up +33% in viewers and up +38% with adults 25-54 compared to the same week a year ago. Each day last week, the CBS EVENING NEWS ranked among the top four in total viewers for all CBS shows.

On Monday, THE NEIGHBORHOOD (7.11m) scored one of its top three audiences this season. BOB ABISHOLA (6.81m) was the night’s #1 new series in viewers with its second-largest audience of the season. ALL RISE was second in viewers (5.95m). BULL was first (7.34m), posting its largest audience since Dec. 10, 2018.

On Tuesday, CBS was first in viewers (9.86m), adults 25-54 (1.6/06) and adults 18-49 (1.0/05). NCIS was the night’s top show in viewers (13.49m), adults 25-54 (2.0/08) and adults 18-49 (1.3/06). At 9:00 PM, an FBI: MOST WANTED special was first in viewers (8.95m) and adults 25-54 (1.5/06) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (0.9/04). FBI: MOST WANTED won the 10:00 PM hour in viewers (7.16m), adults 25-54 (1.3/05) and adults 18-49 (0.7/04).

On Wednesday, SURVIVOR was up +7% in adults 18-49 (1.6/08 from 1.5/08) and added +280,000 viewers (8.14m from 7.86m, +3%) from last week.

On Thursday, YOUNG SHELDON was Thursday’s #1 scripted series in viewers (9.57m). Compared to last week, MAN WITH A PLAN added +600,000 viewers (6.56m from 5.96m, +10%). MOM was first in viewers (7.14m), while BROKE was second (5.59m) adding +320,000 viewers (from 5.27m, +6%) from last week. TOMMY was first in viewers (5.16m).

On Friday night, CBS was once again first in viewers (6.36m) for the 28th Friday in 30 weeks this season. MACGYVER was tops in its time period with 6.44 million viewers, MAGNUM P.I. was first (7.14m), and a BLUE BLOODS encore was #1 with 5.50 million viewers.

On Saturday, CBS, NBC, ABC and multiple cable networks aired the “One World: Together at Home” special from 8:00-10:00 PM with a combined audience of 20.7 million viewers. At 10:00 PM, 48 HOURS was first in viewers with an audience of 3.58 million.

On Sunday, CBS was first in viewers (7.18m) for the 10th consecutive Sunday. 60 MINUTES was the night’s top show in viewers (9.66m). GOD FRIENDED ME at 8:00 PM was also first in viewers (5.94m), adding +250,000 (from 5.69m, +4%) from the previous week. At 9:00 PM, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in viewers (6.89m), and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS at 10:00 PM was also #1 in viewers (6.24m), adding +360,000 from last week (from 5.88m, +6%).
