Tuesday on “The Talk” hosts discuss Vanessa Bryant and her grief journey one year after the tragic death of Kobe and Gianna. Host Amanda Kloots, who lost her husband Nick Cordero last year to Covid-19 relates, “I don’t know Vanessa. I hope to meet her one day because we obviously now have something in common.” She adds, “It’s such a rollercoaster of emotions constantly that doesn’t go away. And, I feel for her today, because I’m already having PTSD about, as you know, this year keep going on. Everything started with Nick in March and so it's already happening for me. I can’t imagine what today is like for her. My heart is with her, and my prayers are with her.” Reflecting on her husband's suicide, Sheryl Underwood adds, “I had the feeling of guilt. First I was sad. Then, I had the feeling of maybe I shouldn’t be sad because I know it’s God’s will. There’s nothing I can do about it. Then when I was happy, I had the feeling of guilt that, am I slowly forgetting him?” Kloots adds, “Thank God for [my son] Elvis. I try not to cry in front of him...but when I do, because there’s times when I do, he’ll come over and he'll make me immediately smile or laugh...and I hope that's what Vanessa's finding too, that her family and her kids are helping her to find that joy.”
