Rachael Ray: [Your character is] a coder and you work on these types of interactive toys, and they make a point in the movie to call them toys often. What do you think of that?

Allison Williams: I think it’s very interesting because, Gemma...She is driven like so many people that I’ve known that are innovators and inventors and engineers and aways wanting to move forward, always wanting to push technology and what’s possible... As is often the case when you’re so focused on progress and on the forward momentum of any kind of innovation, you’re not always taking the time you probably should to stop and think of the ethics of what you’re doing and especially when it comes to children interfacing with technology. I think one of the big things our movie is saying is, this is something that we have to be particularly careful about because of how malleable children are and how impactful technology can be in their lives for good or bad.

Rachael Ray: How were the real holidays with everybody and how’s Arlo the baby?

Allison Williams: Really, really cute. I’m really obsessed. I understand what all the hype is about parenthood. Every time my brain has a moment to think about anything that’s where it goes. It’s one hell of a drug.

Rachael Ray: Is he a good eater? A good sleeper?

Allison Williams: He’s perfect...He is doing well across the board we are very lucky. He’s a good guy. He’s a ham.

Rachael Ray: He’s a ham. I love a ham.
