April 11^th, 2012 (New York, NY) — Rachael Ray is joined at the banquet by the “Ringer’s” Ioan Gruffudd.

Ioan Gruffud’s plays “superdad” while his wife is away filming:

“Unfortunately, that show shoot in Atlanta, so no we’re not in the same town. The last time she was there for 10 days. So I had Ella the entire time, playing “superdad.” It’s very exciting. I love it. I can’t get over what great company they can be.”

Ioan’s daughter has started to speak:

“Now she’s able to communicate and starting to form full sentences and that evolution is just beautiful to us.”

Ioan says his daughter takes after his wife:

“She’s very, very strong. She’s like her mother. So I’ve got my work cut out for me at home. She’s insistent on not going in her bed right now.”

Ioan’s two year old would rather play in his trailer than the children’s playroom:

“Sarah’s got a 2 and a half year old daughter, so have I. I think they’re like 10 days apart. Well, my daughter comes to set and she’s like “No, no daddy. Trailer, daddy’s trailer.” She wants to play in the trailer.”

Ioan’s daughter would rather bathe than play:

“The first time she came to the trailer she said “Shower?” She wants to have a shower in the trailer like a home away from home!”

Ioan on the “Ringer” season finale :

“It’s beyond jaw-dropping. The people who have been fans from the beginning are going to be pleasantly surprised because we really do answer all of the questions that we’ve posed.”
