‘RACHAEL RAY’ KICKS OFF NOVEMBER SWEEPS WITH A VISIT FROM ANN ROMNEY OCT. 25

NEW YORK, NY – October 23, 2012 – RACHAEL RAY begins November sweeps with a visit from Ann Romney, wife of Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, on October 25.

 

Ann takes over the RACHAEL RAY kitchen to show Rach the best way to cook Mitt’s favorite meal, Meatloaf Cakes. Then, Ann will take on viewer questions in a round of “Romney Roulette.”

 

Also this November,Rachael will show viewers how to cook a full Thanksgiving meal in under 60 minutes. And for the first time ever, the audience at home will be able to smell Rachael’s cooking from their very own couches. RACHAEL RAY is teaming up with Every Day with Rachael Ray and People to bring “Smell-O-Vision” to life. Both magazines will include exclusive rub and sniff recipes of the dishes Rachael will be preparing on the showfor the three days leading up to Thanksgiving. The rub and sniff recipes will be available in the December issue of Every Day with Rachael Ray and the “Sexiest Man Alive” issue of People, on stands Friday, November 16th.

 

Regis Philbin returns to RACHAEL RAY as a special recurring guest on October 30th to co-host an “NBA Cookoff” alongside Rachael. Then, they enter the kitchen where Rachael will teach Regis how to make the perfect “breakfast in bed” for his wife, Joy.

 

Every Monday during the November sweep a different co-host will join Rachael. Nick Lachey stops by on October 29 and“Good Morning America” hosts Lara Spencer, Josh Elliott and Sam Champion are on board November 5.

Ann Romneyshows Rachael the best way to make Mitt’s favorite meal – Meatloaf cakes -- and the ladies play a game of Romney Roulette. 

 

Friday, October 26

Rachael checks a box off her “Bucket List” by becoming a zookeeper for a day at the Philly Zoo. Then, Buddy Valastro from TLC’s “Cake Boss”knocks one off of his list when he drives a Formula 1 race car.

 

Wednesday, October 31

Every year Rachael and her husband, John, dress up for Halloween in carefully themed costumes. Plus, a Mystery Trick or Treater makes an appearance.  

 

Thursday, November 8

60 Minute Thanksgiving – Rachael proves it’s possible to cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner -- including turkey breasts, potatoes, stuffin’ muffins and pecan pie -- in just 60 minutes.

 

Friday, November 16

One week before Thanksgiving, Rachael turns her studio into a grocery store to give viewers tips on how to shop for their holiday meal. She’ll share tips on what to buy, whenand how to prep the food.
