SHOW WELCOMES BOBBY FLAY AND BILL BELLAMY AS CO-HOSTS THROUGHOUT SEASON 8; REGIS PHILBIN RETURNS

NEW YORK, NY – September 3, 2013 –CBS Television Distribution’s two-time Emmy® Award-winning talk show RACHAEL RAY kicks off its premiere week on September 16th with a surprise 45th birthday show for Rachael. Late-night talk show host Arsenio Hall will host the festivities.

RACHAEL RAY is also setting two extra places at the kitchen table this season as it welcomes new co-hosts: Celebrity chef and author Bobby Flay, who will join Rachael once a month over the course of Season 8, and actor and comedian Bill Bellamy, who will join Rachael as a recurring co-host. Plus, Regis Philbin also returns as a special guest throughout the season.

More of RACHAEL RAY’s favorites will join the show throughout the season, with confirmed guests Julie Andrews, Michael Strahan, Connie Britton, Ted Danson, Christina Hendricks, Hayden Panetierre, Mitt and Ann Romney, Alyson Hannigan, Linda Ronstadt, Matt Bomer, Wayne Brady and Kevin and Dani Jonas.

Guests and programming for the premiere week of September 16th include: Rachael’s surprise 45th birthday hosted by Arsenio Hall (will air Monday 9/16), National Cheeseburger Day with Co-host Bobby Flay (will air Wednesday, 9/18), and Regis Philbin joins Rachael to talk to Linda Ronstadt about her new book and recent health scare (will air Friday 9/20). Chef Mario Batali, Steve Harvey, Sharon Osbourne and Julie Chen will also make appearances.
