SEASON EIGHT PREMIERE

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14

(Hollywood, CA – Sept. 9, 2015) – The Emmy® Award-winning syndicated talk show returns for its eighth season with all-new episodes on Monday, September 14. The Doctors has offered the most timely, topical and practical health and wellness information on daytime television since 2008. 

Focusing on audience engagement, the show spent significant time building their on-line presence last season – launching a new website and successfully growing their social media – now reaching over 3.5 million fans across multiple platforms.

The Doctors is hosted by ER physician Dr. Travis Stork alongside co-hosts, each of whom is a practicing physician and expert in their respective field: plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Andrew Ordon, OB/GYN Dr. Jennifer Ashton, and family practitioner and sexologist, Dr. Rachael Ross. Medical specialists routinely join the program with cutting edge procedures, treatments and surgeries.

Popular franchise segments will return including “The Doctor’s Prescription” – a daily  takeaway of practical, tangible informationfor viewers; “Word of the Day” – a fun surprise trigger word from the hosts that allows viewers to participate in a daily audience giveaway; “News in Two” – everything from breaking medical news around the globe to the inside track on pop culture health & fitness news; “Friday News Feed” – a unique news segment each Friday morning during original and second run shows; and “Put It To The Test” – investigative reports on the legitimacy of health and beauty products currently on the market and available to consumers.
