New York, NY - September 9, 2008 - Bob Duff, father of actress and singer Hilary Duff, speaks exclusively to INSIDE EDITION after being released from jail.

Duff, who is currently in the middle of a bitter divorce with soon to be ex-wife Susan, was led out of divorce court in handcuffs after a judge found him in contempt of court.  Duff, a millionaire owner of a chain of convenience stores, spent a day in jail for selling off the family's assets without court approval.  He plans to appeal the court's ruling.

Following are excerpted quotes from this exclusive interview scheduled to broadcast on INSIDE EDITION.  Credit must be given to INSIDE EDITION.

Duff: "I have never been handcuffed before."

Duff tells INSIDE EDITION the pressure of raising celebrity daughters took its toll on his marriage to his wife Susan.

Duff, who admits to having an extramarital affair, tells INSIDE EDITION he is remorseful of the effect it had on his daughters, Hilary and Haylie.

Duff: "I was unfaithful to our marriage. I feel very badly about that and the effect that it had on the girls."
