Popular shows ‘Emeril Live,’ ‘Instant Gardener,’ ‘60 Minute Makeover’
and ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ Added to the Summer Schedule
SANTA MONICA, Calif. – JULY 23, 2020 – Dabl, a multiplatform, advertiser-supported lifestyle network from CBS Television Distribution, has extended its reach through distribution with cable operators Comcast’s Xfinity and Verizon Fios across a number of markets.
Additionally, the lifestyle network has added four popular programs to its summer schedule: “Emeril Live,” as well as “Instant Gardener,” “60 Minute Makeover” and Gordon Ramsay’s “Kitchen Nightmares” via a deal with ITV Studios.
Launched nationwide last Fall, Dabl (dab·ble) has cable distribution on Xfinity and Verizon cable systems in 13 major markets, where the network also airs on the digital spectrum of the CBS owned-and-operated station in those markets.

On “Emeril Live” chef Emeril Lagasse whips up gourmet dishes with his signature “Bam!” in front of a live studio audience. Each episode features live music as well as a few special guests who sample Emeril’s creation of the day.
“Kitchen Nightmares”
Chef Gordon Ramsay hits the road to help struggling restaurants all over the United States turn their luck around. Ramsay examines the problems each establishment faces, from unsanitary refrigerators to lazy or inexperienced staff, and searches for resolutions. With help from his team, Ramsay redecorates each eatery to give it a fresh new look and updates the menu as needed. Ramsay's ultimate goal is to make the restaurants he visits popular and profitable, but it's up to the restaurateurs to take his advice and turn their business nightmare into the American dream.
“60 Minute Makeover”
Claire Sweeney and her army of helpers surprise deserving people and everyday heroes across the country with a stunning home makeover – performed in a day and brought to you in just 60 minutes. In each episode, one deserving person nominated by their friends and family will get the surprise home makeover of a lifetime.
“Instant Gardener”
Helen Skelton hosts “Instant Gardener” where expert garden designer Danny Clarke rejuvenates gardens of deserving members of the public in just one day. Tired, unloved gardens are brought back to life with imaginative designs and reuse of existing plants and materials.
