BELLAMIE BLACKSTONE NAMED EXECUTIVE PRODUCER OF WHEEL OF FORTUNE

Wheel of Fortune Veteran Supervising Producer Steve Schwartz Promoted to

Co-Executive Producer

[CULVER CITY, CA – March 23, 2022] ­– Bellamie Blackstone has been named Executive Producer of Wheel of Fortune as the show gears up for its milestone 40th season in syndication. Bolstering her at the helm of the television mainstay is the show’s longtime Supervising Producer Steve Schwartz, who will take on the role of Co-Executive Producer.

Throughout Season 39, Steve has demonstrated remarkable leadership that is equaled only by his historical knowledge of the show and production. With Bellamie and Steve working in partnership, I am confident that Season 40 will be our best yet."

Bellamie Blackstone joins Wheel of Fortune with experience producing a diverse slate of television programming that spans broadcast and streaming platforms. Recently she served as Executive Producer of “History of Swear Words,” hosted by Nicholas Cage for Netflix; “Kids Say the Darndest Things,” hosted by Tiffany Haddish for ABC then CBS; and “I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman” for Hulu. Her experience with game shows includes, among others, “Press Your Luck,” “Deal or No Deal,” and “1 vs. 100.” Blackstone is repped by Debra Goldfarb at The Gersh Agency.

Longtime Wheel of Fortune Supervising Producer Steve Schwartz has been with the show for 32 years in various roles. Over the last several months, Schwartz has stepped up to oversee the production of the show’s 39th season.

Continuing to front Wheel of Fortune are Host Pat Sajak and Co-Host Vanna White who are contracted through the 2023-2024 season.

 

Production will wrap on the game show’s 39th season in syndication later this month while new episodes will air until June.
