CULVER CITY, CALIF. (February 3, 2011) - On Feb. 14-16, watch as television history is made when all-time Jeopardy! champs Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter compete against an IBM computer named "Watson" in the first-ever Jeopardy! man vs. machine competition. 

Watson is not connected to the Internet and has the ability to understand natural language including puns, riddles, irony and other twists of phrases.  But is Watson ready to challenge the quiz show's most successful players? 

Ken Jennings broke the Jeopardy! record for the most consecutive games played during the 2004-2005 season by winning 74 games in a row, resulting in winnings of more than $2.5 million. Brad Rutter holds the record as the quiz show's highest cumulative winner earning $3,255,102.

Two games will be played over three consecutive days with the highest money winner crowned champion.  The winner will receive the grand prize of $1 million with second place earning $300,000 and third place $200,000.  IBM will donate all of its winnings to charity, while Jennings and Rutter will donate half their prize money to charity.

Jeopardy!, the winner of 28 Emmy awards since its syndicated debut in 1984, is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most awards won by a TV Game Show. The series is the #1-rated quiz show in syndication with nearly 9 million daily viewers. Jeopardy! is produced by Sony Pictures Television, a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company.
