December 20, 2013 (New York, N.Y.) — Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson joins Rachael Ray on Monday, December 23 to chat about what he wants for Christmas and what celebrity he hopes to work with in the future. He also shoots hoops in our studio to answer our viewers’ questions, and chats about his upcoming Starz project, Power, and book, Formula 50.

50 Cent plays a little basketball in our studio – he has to make the shots or answer viewer questions. One question: “Lights on or off?” His answer: “Gotta leave the lights on, can’t see the hoop.”

Below are quotes from the Monday, December 23rd episode of the RACHAEL RAY show:

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson on what he wants for Christmas this year:

Rachael Ray: What do you put on your Christmas list? What are some of the Christmas gifts that mattered a lot to you?

50 Cent: The first thing I put on my Christmas list is, "Please don't buy me things with my money that are really expensive." Let me buy expensive things with my money. I want to go through the thought process.

Rachael: But I think some of my favorite gifts were things that didn't cost a lot.

50 Cent: I mean, underwear always works.

Rachael: You are the one guy on the planet that wants to open underwear for Christmas.

50 Cent: Well, underwear and socks, you can never have enough.

50 Cent on the actor he most wants to work with:

Rachael: Do you have a bucket list of people you’d like to work with, either in film or in music, that you haven’t had a chance to yet?

50 Cent: Yeah, Leonardo DiCaprio…He’s pretty good. I just saw his new project, The Wolf of Wall Street.

Rachael: You saw it already?

50 Cent: Yeah, private screening. And he was in there with me…I was like, “This is so cool. You’re coming to watch it with me? This is an exciting night. I’m on his fan list now.

Rachael: Did you get to talk to him? Did you get to say, “Hey, I’d love for us to work together?”

50 Cent: Yeah, there were a few people there that I’d worked with in the past. Terence Winter actually wrote The Wolf of Wall Street [screenplay]; he wrote Get Rich or Die Tryingfor me. It was a good room. Whenever you’re in a room, and you’re the hottest person in the room, you know you’re in the wrong room!
