October 9, 2013 (New York, N.Y.) — Chelsea Clinton joins Rachael Ray this Friday, October 11, to chat with Rachael about her work with the Clinton Foundation’s Alliance for a Healthier Generation, the pressure she’s facing to have a baby, and whether she had her first kiss in the White House.

Below are quotes from the Friday, October 11th episode of the RACHAEL RAY show:

Chelsea Clinton on the pressure she’s feeling to have a baby soon:

Rachael Ray: The second I got married, everybody wanted to know, when are you going to have a baby, when are you going to have a baby. And God forbid you get to be 40 and don't have a baby because then the heat really turned up. Do you get a lot of pressure, people asking when are you guys going to have kids?

Chelsea Clinton: So, my husband has 10 brothers and sisters, so we have 18, almost 19, nieces and nephews, so there's not pressure from that side of the family. But from my parents there is completely unapologetic pressure. In private and in public. If one of my parents were sitting here, they would tell you without blinking an eye that it would make them the happiest thing on earth if I were to make them grandparents, and they would say it so effusively, and I would feel a little bit of pressure. My husband and I hope that's in our not-too-distant future, but for the moment we're both working really hard.

Rachael: And that's another thing, you have to take time to develop your own path in life, right? You want to spend some time on each other, and some time on yourself, figuring out what your road is.

Chelsea: I never, ever doubted that I was the most important person in my parents' lives, and I want to ensure that my husband and I are in a place in our lives and in our working lives where we can provide that for our children without a doubt.

Chelsea on whether her first kiss happened in the White House:

Rachael (Asking a viewer-submitted question): Did you have your first kiss while living in the White House? And, was it actually in the White House?

Chelsea: It was when I was living in the White House. I lived there from the ages of 12 until 20, so I would hope that somewhere in that time I would have had that right of passage. But it was not actually in the White House.

Rachael: Where was it?

Chelsea: In the boy who was going to become my boyfriend's basement.

Rachael: Mom and dad just got a little too much information, I think.

Chelsea: It's ok, we went to senior prom together, too.

Rachael: It was not a big surprise.

Chelsea on what she wanted to be when she grew up:

Rachael: What was the first thing you told your parents you wanted to be when you were a little girl? You know, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Do you remember what your answer was?

Chelsea: I wanted to be an astronaut. I was completely fascinated by space, and the first sort of big present I remember getting from Santa Claus was a quite small telescope, that I remember going out into our backyard with my parents and figuring out how to assemble, and staring at the night sky, just for hours, with both of my parents, and I wanted to do something that related to space. Whether it was actually going to space, but if that couldn't work out, you know, build satellites, explore space remotely.
