‘RACHAEL RAY’ KICKS OFF 11th SEASON WITH AN HOUR OF SURPRISES FOR FANS AND AUDIENCE MEMBERS

Jessica Alba and Other Celebrity Friends Join Rachael to Orchestrate Surprise Makeovers and Giveaways

NEW YORK, NY – September 8, 2016 – CBS Television Distribution’s Emmy® Award-winning talk show RACHAEL RAY kicks off its 11^th season on Monday, September 12, with an entire hour dedicated to surprises for the studio audience and viewers. Joined by actress and entrepreneur Jessica Alba, Rachael will team up with some of her celebrity pals to surprise unsuspecting men, women and families with makeovers, visits from their favorite stars, and more.

Many of RACHAEL RAY’s favorite celebrity guests will join the show throughout the season, including Kelly Clarkson, Carol Burnett, Salma Hayek, Rob Lowe, Kellan Lutz, Alan Cumming, Mario Batali, Guy Fieri, Craig Ferguson and Tim Tebow. All season long, RACHAEL RAY will celebrate “Feel Good Fridays,” sharing viewers’ heartwarming stories from all walks of life – beginning with the story of a group of motorcycle riders who made the first day of school memorable for one special-needs student. 

Guests and programming for the premiere week of September 12^th include:

• Monday, September 12: Jessica Alba helps Rachael kick off the season with an hour of special surprises for the viewers and audience members who have brought the show to life over the past 11 seasons – including an inspiring family of 11 whose selfless act created a home for six children after their mother passed away. 

• Tuesday, September 13: “Good Morning America’s” Jesse Palmer is Rachael’s co-host for the hour, and he gets a cooking lesson from legendary chef Jacques Pepin; Annie Apple, mother of New York Giants rookie Eli Apple, takes audience questions and gives them advice.

• Wednesday, September 14: The legendary Carol Burnett recreates one of her famous Q&As with the in-studio audience.

• Thursday, September 15: Dr. Phil McGraw is letting the audience “Grill Phil” and ask him anything they want.

• Friday, September 16: Dr. Oz answers viewers’ most-searched medical questions, plus actor and cook Jake Smollett will share his version of one of the country’s most sought-after recipes.
