CTD EARNS 10 DAYTIME EMMY AWARD NOMINATIONS

 

Judge Judy,’ ‘Jeopardy!,’ ‘Entertainment Tonight,’ ‘Inside Edition’ and ‘Hot Bench’ Nominated for Top Show Categories

 

Wheel of Fortune’ Host Pat Sajak and ‘Jeopardy!’ Host Alex Trebek Nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host

 

Inside Edition’ Receives First-Ever Daytime Emmy Nomination

 

MARCH 22, 2017 — CBS Television Distribution received 10 Daytime Emmy nominations today for seven different shows.

 

Television’s #1 court show, JUDGE JUDY, was nominated for Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program. HOT BENCH, created by Judge Judy Sheindlin, was also nominated for the award.

 

ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT was nominated for Outstanding Entertainment News Program for the fourth time. ET has won the category twice. INSIDE EDITION received it’s first-ever Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Entertainment News Program.

 

JEOPARDY!, which has won 32 Emmy Awards, received three nominations including Outstanding Game Show and Outstanding Directing in a Game Show. JEOPARDY! host, Alex Trebek, garnered a nomination for Outstanding Game Show Host.

 

WHEEL OF FORTUNE host, Pat Sajak, was nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host, which he has won three times before. WHEEL OF FORTUNE was also nominated for Outstanding Lighting Direction.

 

RACHAEL RAY was nominated for Outstanding On-Camera Musical Performance in a Daytime Program.
