Social Media Growth Explodes With Video Views Up +72% vs. Last Season

NEW YORK, NY (June 1, 2023) — The Drew Barrymore Show has delivered over 6.9 billion minutes viewed across linear TV on local stations, Paramount+ and Pluto TV streaming, and in social video, season to date. 

In its third season, The Drew Barrymore Show exploded in social media, with substantial gains on all social platforms.

  • Over the course of this season, The Drew Barrymore Show has earned over 589 million video views across social media, up +72% vs. last season’s 342 million video views.
  • TikTok alone delivered 371 million video views, accounting for 63% of the show’s total social video views.
  • The Drew Barrymore Show has seen large growth on social video, with viewers watching 560 million minutes of her social video clips on Facebook, YouTube and TikTok, an increase of over +60% from last season.

Crowned “TV’s most viral talk show” by The A.V. Club, The Drew Barrymore Show’s social has garnered over 9 billion potential impressions and 267,000 mentions. Mentions were up +75% year-over-year, driven by conversation around a number of stars’ appearances, including Brooke Shields, P!nk, Jason Ritter, Reese Witherspoon, George Clooney, Hilary Swank, Ben Affleck, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, Allison Williams, James Corden and Martha Stewart. The Drew Barrymore Show has ranked #1 in video views amongst Daytime Talk Shows for the past 3 months.

The linear syndicated show was the fastest growing talk show on TV, growing +65% year to year in total viewers, and was television’s only talk show to grow from the first to second half of the season across all key demos, including +17% among adults 25-54.

The nationally syndicated daytime show is produced and distributed by CBS Media Ventures and filmed in New York City. Drew Barrymore and Jason Kurtz are executive producers.
