Drew: Is it true that you met her dad first or you built a relationship with her dad?

Wilmer: Yeah, this is very crazy. I'm glad you asked because the joke is that, I might have fallen in love with her dad first and I can explain what that means. So she's half Mexican and so I was like, ‘Oh, you speak Spanish?’ So I start texting her in Spanish and she kind of just froze, she's like, ‘Oh God dad’ and she's, she's pretty good at Spanish, but she's not fluent. So she basically calls her dad, she goes, ‘Dad he's texting me in Spanish.’ So he starts texting me in Spanish.

So I'm texting him back in Spanish and we're going back and forth and it's, he's talking like his daughter, you know. So I'm like, this is amazing. She's so fine.

Drew: So dad was Cyrano de Bergerac.

Wilmer: Absolutely.
