CBS NEWS "48 HOURS MYSTERY" WAS THE NIGHT'S #1 PROGRAM IN HOUSEHOLDS AND VIEWERS ON SATURDAY, MARCH 6

On Saturday, March. 6, CBS News 48 HOURS MYSTERY (10:00-11:00 PM ET) was the night's #1 program in both households (4.8/09) and viewers (7.11m), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. The program also won its time period in adults 25-54 (2.0/06).

The broadcast, entitled "Lady in the Pool," featured Harold Dow's report about Jan Roseboro, who died after her husband Michael claimed he discovered her body in their pool. Initially thought to be an accidental drowning, an autopsy revealed extreme trauma and injuries to her body, and her death was ruled a homicide. A deeper investigation uncovered thousands of phone calls, text messages and emails between Michael Roseboro and his mistress of seven weeks, Angela Funk, raising the possibility that Michael murdered his wife to be with another woman.

This broadcast was produced by Allen Alter and Sarah Huisenga. Paul Ryan was the senior producer. Susan Zirinsky is the executive producer of 48 HOURS MYSTERY. Click here to watch this program.
