CBS News Radio has been honored with two Gold Awards and one Silver Award from the 2022 New York Festivals Radio Awards, announced Tuesday. The awards honor radio content in all lengths and formats on multiple platforms including radio broadcasts, networks, independent producers and podcasts.

CBS News Radio’s honorees are:

• ASSAULT ON THE U.S. CAPITOL - earned a Gold Award in the Best Coverage of Breaking News Story category.

• THE FALL OF AFGHANISTAN - earned a Gold Award in the Best Coverage of Ongoing News Story category.

• INTELLIGENCE MATTERS - earned a Silver Award in the Best News Podcast category.
