“60 MINUTES” IS #1

MAKES THE TOP 10 FOR THE 25TH STRAIGHT TIME

60 MINUTES finished the week as America’s #1 primetime program in viewers for the fifth time this season. The CBS Newsmagazine drew 8.5 million viewers to make the top 10 for the 25th time according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, April 18.

It was the ninth time in a row the broadcast ranked at #3 or higher and the 16th time this season.

Sunday’s 60 MINUTES featured a Sharyn Alfonsi story about the Oath Keepers, a group whose members are being targeted in the investigation into the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, Bill Whitaker’s look at the relationship between discrimination and poor health outcomes for African Americans, and a profile of Oscar nominee Viola Davis by Jon Wertheim.

Bill Owens is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America’s most watched news program.
