60 MINUTES made the Nielsen top 10 for the third straight time. The CBS newsmagazine’s audience of 8.47 million viewers was the week’s #7 primetime program, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Oct. 10.

Sunday’s 60 MINUTES featured a Bill Whitaker report on astonishingly real internet “deepfakes,” Sharyn Alfonsi’s story about the separation of parents and children at the U.S.-Mexico border, and a look at a unique college in the California desert by Jon Wertheim.

Bill Owens is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America’s most-watched news program.
